Pan-Canadian Strategic Directions

In early 2024, with the support from a CIHR Planning and Dissemination Grant, we brought together nurse leaders from regulatory bodies, professional associations, specialty practice groups and educational institutions to share knowledge about genomics-informed nursing and to co-create strategic directions to guide the integration of genomics into all areas of Canadian nursing. The outcomes of this project included four key strategic directions and the development of a toolkit to enhance Canadian nurses' genomics literacy.
